Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know I won't get a direct answer but anything would help in information.
I am looking to scrap a 2004 Opel Astra, does anybody have a rough idea what you would get these days. The engine is tickin over but won't start.

buy and sell...spares or repair ... €100 and it will be gone.

nb turning over you mean....ticking over is something else.

You would get sod all for it. Easiest is to stick it up on adverts and donedeal with pics and a description of the problems.

If you want to salvage the car you can post in DIY section and we'll try to guide you trough some troubleshooting steps

I'm sure there are loads of buy and sell groups on FB etc.....
.....It seemed you were referring to the (now defunct) Buy and Sell Website, which replaced the earlier Newspaper version.

It's probably an Age thing:). Some of us only think of one thing when we see the words "Buy and Sell".....hours spent searching through the small printed Ad's.....and no photo's to give a clue, just the bare description .
