Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Amazon fire HD 8 2016

    Who has one of these and are they worth it? £89 in amazon but for the sake of €15 extra Il just buy it in Argos if I go for it.

    What's this fire OS like? Also will it display widgets like a normal android? Will it background sync my Gmail etc or have Amazon disabled anything important that normal androids use? I believe it's based on lollipop which is fairly old and wonder if Amazon will update this to Nougat since it's recently been launched.

    For the same price what else could I get? :/
    What turns me off the Amazon tab are all the freaking adverts all over it. I read on XDA that certain firmware versions can be rooted.
