The farmers will be calling for rain by tomorrow

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,589 ✭✭✭✭sryanbruen

Tuesday will be a cooler day overall but still quite warm in the high teens and low 20s generally. The heat will build back up to 25 or 26c again on Wednesday but then an Atlantic regime looks like taking place from Thursday onwards.

Ah give it a month maybe when we're having 27 degree weather everyday from the ENSO neutral summer and we'll see.;)

Interesting to look back at the ENSO records and what weather we had here.
Well it's very hard to get perfect matches but generally ENSO neutral years are dominated by High Pressure.

That was why I was so bullish earlier on in the year about a good summer and chancing my arm that it would turn out like that.:p

But ENSO neutral summers that were preceded by Weak La Nina winters are not. Very unsettled actually.

10C difference between some coastal fringes and and the warmest spots around Kilkenny and Dublin which are recording 25C+
