I doubt if Tubs even knows where Walkinstown even is, never mind driven around its roundy bouts.

Have come across Tubs driving through Blackrock and Mount Merrion on a few occasions. People from outside Dublin are going to be lost with all this talk about the Walkinstown roundabout and the Coombe hospital.

Just flicked over to BBC 4, a Queen concert from 1975 is been showing recorded on Christmas eve. Freddie and the lads look very young but they are belting the songs out. class :)

Even more Dublinny than Ronnie Drew from the Dubliners who presented a series called Dublin, My Dublin and did adverts for Dubliner Cheese

... and lived most of his life in Greystones Co.Wicklow :)

The great hotel swizz. Get one night free..and you have to fork out for the whole weekend. They won't let you just book for one night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,031 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

Anyone else think the one night hotel give aways, are a bit scabby?

    I mean one night?

    C'mon now.

Give people an entire weekend, or two nights at least.

There is no way I'd make the trek down to West Cork, for just the one night.

Don't want to be pedantic here, but that's a buffalo, not a bronco.

And buffalos aren't even buffalos, they're bison.

This fake news world we're living in is killing me.
