Maybe Joe has a recorded message to show him, at the end he will say "keep the faith".

Sorry folks missed a good bit of this

    Who is this guy?

RTE are remaking Star Trek The Next Generation. He's Captain Picard.

Does he want to be a dictator? I think he is genuine, to be fair to him.

Remember that comedy sketch where Ryan thinks he is going to interview Nelson Mandela, but ends up with John Creedon?

At least that would never actually happen on the LLS.

    Fun Fact:

Mark and Jeremy's flat in Peep Show was in a building called Apollo House

He was only unhappy because he didn't come up with the idea to occupy Apollo House idea first.

Apollo house always reminds me having a few scoops after a Dubs game. Best thing ever.

    To sum up:

Mannix is great and everyone is against him but they are all wrong and he is the only one with the answers.

I think he has a point and it achieved nothing. I know a good few people who work with the homeless and they feel the same way.

Serious question, why were his parents having more and more kids when they couldn't afford to have them?

I think it was encouraged at the time to have loads off kids and child benefits came in to help.

There was a heap of money raised too.....

He has a point about that regarding where it went.

Mr. T should have had one of the "personalities" there and let them get stuck into it...

There's a whole industry around homelessness where the funding amounts to over €30k a year per homeless person, they are achieving basically nothing, the drugs don't work they just make it worse comes to mind.

    Singing, I presume.

So, the homeless crisis goes on.

(Just messing, I really admire guys like that bringing attention to these problems).

the bloke is an absolute fraud.
"i was in these homes for 4 or so years, i went in when i was 10, came out when i was 11 or 12 ".
he makes himself out to be a man of the people, He was instrumental in closing down the temple bar cultural trust, thus allowing dublin city council to take over the running of temple bar and allow them to ruin it.
    the bloke is a bull****ter, a fraud and a selfish f%$ker !!

Guessing you are a Dublin street performer or ex-performer?

It is an absolute minefield, from what I have been told.

Crimecall, perhaps the worst waste of time ever. Crimes where the filming of the reconstruction would cost more than what was originally stolen, crimes that took place 6-9 months ago that they are looking for important details now, crimes where Gardaí have the make, model, colour, start of the reg but their Commodore 64 can't do a basic job of listing the handful of cars that would match that etc, etc.

Is Mannix going to ride the bucking bronco?

No, and how dare you suggest something so ridiculous.
Mannix is not defined by the bucking bronco.
Mannix is not OWNED by the bucking bronco.
The bucking bronco is not owned by the State, or ANY ORGANIZATION FOR THAT MATTER.
    Mannix is his own person.
    Mannix.
