Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty sure Lacey doesn't know you only have to get one knee to the ground for a tackle to be completed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Ah Seymour. You have to fight more and go in low, early for that.

    EDIT: Got away with it!

Nearly consider a penalty try for that high shot if he hadn't scored.

    Blatant offisde :D

Was that crossing or was it just a brilliant decoy line??

I'd imagine that would have been a penalty try if he hadn't got it down.

Is there any way by which the referee can award the penalty try in lieu of the try, seeing as the kick was very difficult? He kicked the conversion anyway, so it didn't matter in this case...

Yes. In such a case the ref should award the penalty try.

Don't think so but he could award a penalty so, instead of a Welsh restart, it's a Scotland penalty from halfway.

Visser's fielding since his penalty has been excellent.

Hogg's delayed pass made that. Beautifully done.

I can't tell for sure, but I reckon Dan Biggar was a million miles offside there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    Ouch, 7 pointer blown there.

Offload wasn't handy to take but Webb should have held it.

Initial pass to Davis looked forward to me...

Roll on Cardiff if this is the best that Wales have to offer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Think Wales would have learned their lesson from the England game. Obviously not

    That lineout was outstandingly ****e

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,142 ✭✭✭fitz

Karma... Thought the crossing penalty was harsh...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Teams are really trying all different types of lieouts these last few games.

    That would have been something.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

That little pop after the break surely forward. The crowd went quiet expecting the whistle, I'm sure.

Dunbar with minus metres on his kicking stats

The Welsh lads spend half their time asking the ref to call something instead of playing

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,142 ✭✭✭fitz

So cynical from Wales. No releasing in the tackle, hands while off feet, refs need to be much more on top of team warnings for cynical play in the red zone. Been far too lax this year imo.

Just about get away with that

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

Not come out the side there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 431 ✭✭Vital Transformation

    Risky Scottish lineout.

    Risky lineout

Delighted for Webb try ruled out. Seriously it's gone to TMO and you continue to shake your head. Take the decision and move on.

Scotland need to take advantage of this poor Welsh half, they'll come back into the game no doubt.

  • Registered Users Posts: 609 ✭✭✭English Lurker

This is beginning to look like a schools match to me - plenty of quality, but so many "Trying to do it all" mistakes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,930 ✭✭✭Spudmonkey

Scots trying their hardest to lose this. Don't think they have enough to hold out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Some of this play would be savaged at Pro12 level. Massive error count.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    Tipuric tip tackle there?

Tipuric maybe in trouble after that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,247 ✭✭✭✭Losty Dublin

    Looks like yellow.

Edit. Justin can probably count his lucky stars.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Just a penalty for me anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Same as in the Munster game last night, just penalty. Right call

Penalty is fair enough but Tipuric is fortunate. Russell came down horizontal mostly because he put his arm out to right himself as he landed.

I'd agree save Wales seem to be trying even harder...

    Nice footwork from Visser.

Scotland are good for the first time in probably a million years

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Hogg....I don't like the bloke but that was utterly beautiful. Nailed on Lions 15.

Long way back for Wales now. Definitely the best result for us if Scotland win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That was an absolute unbelievable pass from Russell and then cracking pass on by hogg

  • Registered Users Posts: 159 ✭✭BobCobb

    That'll do, Hogg. That'll do
