Clutching at straws there....meeting/vote/compose a statement/agree that..no simple communication there....possibly alienate those that disagreed, even if all done, what does it achieve...nothing worth talking about...frankly a silly suggestion.

So you're not a member of any of the supporters clubs but it's essential to you that they issue a statement?

Even by the standards of your usual nonsense this takes the biscuit

Offically dream over, we may get compensated but the fans and team wont have there euro days out. A disgrace it wasant siad too the club at the end of last season 'sorry guys due too UEFA rules the club will not be awareded a licence'. Gutting after all the excitment around and the fact we likely wont be good enough too make it this season unless we win the cup

Club officials, as well as many others, were quite aware of the rules and how Waterford did not comply.
It has even been posted in this thread a few times.

My suspicion is that they hoped JD would swing it for them, but that did not pan out.

Good point to take back from a Bohs team who look very good this year. Big one on Monday now against Dundalk, hopefully Waterford people will show up in big numbers and get behind the team.

decent point and we played well according too reports

Dundalk could be too strong for us and seem too be getting back too themselves now

    Next 3 games
    Dundalk (H)- 29th Apr
St Pats (A) :)- 3rd May (could be firey)
    Sligo (H)- 11th Apr

still a while too go but 4th place might be beyond us and then we have too hope We win the cup or the cup finalists are 2 of the top 3 teams.

If we were to finish say 5th and go on then to win the cup that would be a good season even after all the nonsense which is going on at the moment.

last night was horrific to watch. Hery looks disinterested, there is something not right in the camp. has Rennie lost the dressing room?think 6th or 7th is the best we can hope for. Rennie was quoted a few weeks ago that he signed players because of European Football. who are they?

I think Hery will move on in the summer.

Maybe he isn't getting his wages. The club will want him off the wage bill. Very poor this season.

Everyone stating that the result in bohs last Friday was a decent result but Bohs manager came out after the game last night and stated he rested 8 players against us. an amateur side rest 8 players vs a full time outfit and the blues fans call it a decent result. ffs!

Thought we played fairly good after opening ten minutes, first goal was a sucker punch, clearly dundalk lad looked for it and got it, exactly what he should do suppose, started decent in second half too but second goal was a screamer against run of play, can't complain, lovely goal. I was freezing and was thinking of leaving after hery sent off, did after third. He was poor alright and his frustration was clear with certainly one silly yellow card, second one. All in all dundalk are a better side than us, simple as, maybe not 3/4 better but are in general. Results have been ok, not great. BS talk trying to undermine manager is completely silly, results are not there, IMO he's doing decent job so far and to even suggest that is the problem, with everything going on off the pitch now is the kind of bar room rubbish best left there.

There was a distinct lack of atmosphere on Monday I thought even before the goals went in. Crowd below 1000, being a wet Monday night didn't help! Players just didn't look on it from the outset. Dundalk were by far the better team and could have won by a few more.

The Europa league expulsion has clearly knocked the wind out of everyones sails, it's such a shame.

Now really is the time the team needs the fans most.

have a feeling we could see a differnt squad and management for the 2020 season unless we can somehow get a european place which looks very unlikely atm

Caulifeld has left Cork City and i knw hes disliked a bit by the Waterford supporters but the LOI has many journey men and he could take over here if the job becomes available ?

Wait, are you saying that even though we started the season with a big budget cut, by all accounts, and have just found out we won't have a big euro payday the managers job is on the line if we don't get into Europe?

How would Waterford's budget compare with others in the league?

Wasant there talk of Rennie going back too his FAI role at the end of this season cause he would be guaranteed his pension from that or something ?

No doubt he'll be linked to the Cork job too.

We are having a disappointing 2nd season after all the excitement last year. Poor crowd on Monday night and by far the lowest since we came up. I know it was our 3rd home game in 10 days and a wet evening but to get less than 1000 to see us play the champions was poor. It was like being back in first division.
The loss of the likes of Aborah, Puri, Hunt and Duffus has cost us. Budget was cut back before season started and with probable loss of UEFA money and lower crowds we won't be able to improve squad.

Don't suppose a season ticket get you in to see u17 matches? How much is it?
Watchin them on tv, would like to see it well supported, hopefully I'll get down Monday night.

I though I saw it mentioned on FB that a season ticket does get you in for free.

That late late goal must be devastating for the kids.

Good luck to them on Monday.

Im sure the players were well up for this so fair play to them. Good to win by such a solid margin too.

The scoreline probably flattered us but we took our chances and they didn't. First half was poor but we clicked in the second half. The wafflers on here talking about Rennie losing the dressing room weren't there I'm sure but there was a good vibe about the team and the substitutions were decisive.

There's nothing between us and Pat's and probably Cork and Sligo. It's a mini league nowhere near good enough to challenge for the title. I've seen Pat's a few times now and they're just like us - no consistency.
