Looks like we’ll be back but in what kind of health, nobody knows. Need a new manager first n players. Positive though.

Paul O Brien favorite for the job, he was manager between 2011-2013

Seems a bit of a merry go round in the club. Can generally see Rennie coming back in a few years

Jesus lads Paul hasn’t managed in a long time in that capacity anyway. In a time of need a steady might be what we need but a very strange choice but having his badges is what is needed at there minimum. Think Fran Rockett has the badges needed too. Rennies assistant but it’s a huge step up.

Is it though? He's presumably got the qualifications and been involved in the setup.

Will ya stop :D one piece of advice PTH don't believe everything you read on the Blues Supporters page. I laughed at that post. It's either a bit of fun or pure bonkers stuff (i'd say it's a piss take). The poster himself i see has a new t-shirt range modelled by Bill Badbody

It’s mad cause I didn’t see it but as a short term solution it fits the bill and willing to work under the conditions. Short term suits LP quiet handy atm.

Should force Powers hand hopefully to return the team

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Gardner

Seems Lee Power has backed the deal to return to football. Few lads on supporters pages deleting libel comments as we speak. Also sending the Swindon players on holiday to Spain as a gesture towards winning the league.

Haha The Libel Boys are squirming lol Brainless to do it in the first place. Some ppl you would wonder where their actual common sense is gone.

vote done and league of Ireland will return in late July with same scenario for relegation as before the suspension of games - 1 automatic relegation and 1 play off with first division team.

they're saying 2 rounds of games with points won up to now standing. does anyone know how that will work with soem teams having played 4 games and some played 5 games prior to lockdown?

anyway, looks like we will see return of games, just a pity our manager and some players were allowed to leave. can't see how we will be as strong on the resumption and the potentially 2 relegated teams is not good news for us.

We have a month to find a new manger and squad

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Gardner

who is running the social media side of things for the club? he needs to be named and shamed and ****ed out on his ear! replying to players and everything else on twitter. it's mind boggling!

  • Registered Users Posts: 893 ✭✭✭Deisegodeo

Teams will play 18 total (2 rounds) so previous 4/5 games played count toward the 18.

ok thanks for that, makes sense now.

The Blues are back :D Few more players expected back in through the doors, Sam Bone, Allardyce, Longbottom & Ali Coote. So that’s a positive and hopefully more players to join. Still don’t know is it all behind doors and if so will they be televised?

New manager expected the weekend after John Cotter turned down the job today throwing that search up into the air.

might do a decent job for us but could be all BS

managerial search still ongoing, names from the BSC on facebook include John Caufield, Harry Kenny, Jon Daly (former Rangers player and coach at Hearts)

Outdoor gatherings of 500 will be allowed by then so you would imagine (hopefully) the season ticket holders will have first dibs.

Least it would have 500 going through the gate but no match day revenue in regards to ticket sales. Wonder would 500 in each stand with separate entrances work to get ticket sales on match day in?

Interesting, it would be great job for him but does he have all the badges?

Few players in training today from across the pond and a few things happening in the RSC. I see someone in the club made a fake profile and gained access to the Waterford FC supporters club page and was commenting on a post last night, luckily they were found out and banned. Dunno who from the club it is though, how sad a “grown” up Club official has to do that crap. No wonder things are at an all time low.

    'An all time low?' Ffs.

    How old are you?

In relatively recent times, while the team was floundering in the first division, the directors had to chip in to pay for the room where they held the board meeting.

It's not a private group. You don't have to create a fake account to gain access to it.
