Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have vdc in my SE 5 series (f10). I prefer the firmer suspension setting in sport mode but this resets to normal every time the ignition is switched off. If I select the spongey comfort setting it doesn't reset to normal.
Anyone know if there's a way to keep the suspension setting in sport mode?

Are you pressing the economy/comfort/sport/sport+ button by the gear shifter ?

If you go into the CIC, are there VDC settings available ?

Yes but have to press it every time I drive the car to put it in sport. Can't see anything inn settings

    You don't have VDC.

That comfort/sport switch adjusts the gear box settings and firms up the steering.
It also makes the accelerator pedal more responsive.

If you have VDC, you will have options to adjust it in the iDrive.

Now, if you want the car to stay in sport mode, im pretty sure that it can be coded to stay in the last set mode.
You'll just need to find a local BMW coder.

    Yeah I do.

I don't have a setting to keep it in sport.

Ok, fair enough, most people confuse the sport mode with VDC.

If normal or comfort is chosen, that setting remains as is with an ignition cycle. Sport always defaults back to normal. You are not missing a CIC setting as there isn't one. That's not to say it can't be done, you would need to have it coded to behave this way.
