Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit ironic of Ibra to be hounding the referee to send yer man off when he moaned about Chelsea doing the same to him a couple of years ago.

Nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be, yellow is correct.

Game over. Well done to utd, hard luck to Saints.

That's right, no team has ever come back from two down in the history of football ever.

Good call by the ref there. Did actually look a lot worse.

How are the two fouls by Herrera and lingard yellow card offenses.

There's really no such thing as a neutral where United are concerned!

I'm neutral but I usually go for the underdog.

And so many people up until this season still didn't really rate Ibra...

    Next goal is crucial

It's how pretty much any team would react to a tackle like that.

wasn't even that bad on the replay as Neville said also..

It's a ****show as always. Used to enjoy match threads. Now they are the last refuge for trolls and malcontents.

I cannot watch this negative, bus parking, long ball playing United any longer

That's two missed tackles by Rojo.

It was still bad and very much looked it in real time. The players don't have the benefit of replay.

Would make no difference to your posts if you watched their games or not.

It looked much worse than it was from the back or front on camera, side view showed a yellow was correct.

That whole surrounding the ref is nonsense. You would think that United are the only team that does it, its something that happens in nearly every game when a seemingly visious tackle goes in.

It was still bad and very much looked it in real time. The players don't have the benefit of replay.

It could have broken his leg and the players surrounding the ref would still be unwarranted. It's not part of the game and it's horrible to see a group of professionals trying to get another sent off.

To be expected. Absolutely shocking space between the cbs and the midfield.

Well deserved goal for Southampton. We have been awful at the back.

Cheeky cheeky, deserved, should be two all, game on.

Least will make things interesting for second half. Hopefully United wake up and respond.

Italian players doing poorly in England doesn't seem to apply to Southampton. First Pelle, now Gabbiadini.

Good time to pull one back. Interesting

    Clear offside I thought.

Southhampton probably go in feeling better now.

Forster has been horrendous on both goals. The first one is obvious but the second he actually takes a step to his right to give himself less of a chance of saving it.

For the second in particular, if this was a South /Central American game or Lower League Italian football, I would be very suspicious

At least this will keep it entertaining for the second half.

I'm assuming you'll bring this up when your team does it?

Well, from a United perspective 2-1 up and cant play as poorly as that in the second half. So encouraging.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Could Sky not at least make one of the commentators a neutral for all us neutral fans?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,846 ✭✭✭✭Liam McPoyle

Many games this season we have been awful in the first half and brilliant in the second.

We have been pretty awful today so hopefully the trend for our second half continues.

Utd sitting back the whole first half has given Southampton some encouragement...set up to counter attack

Not exactly unique to a Mourinho team though is it? Ever watch Barcelona play?

Forster's footwork is generally leaden to say the least.

Or every team in the history of football.

Where did I say it was unique to a Mourinho side? I'm not too fond of Barca so that's irrelevant, and I stand by the fact that it's something in football that annoys me. If my team does it, of course I'll keep my mouth shut, it doesn't mean I like it though.
