    Hi, are there different types of primary medical certs or is there just 1?

    Hi Ginger, There is only one primary medical cert but it can be awarded for one of four different grounds if I remember correctly. Also when you have a primary medical cert you have 3 options on how you use it.

    You can use it yourself and get a car modified for the driver.
    You can have the cert transferred to your spouse and have the car modified for a passanger.
    If you have no spouse you can transfer the cert to a family member and get a passanger modified car.

    Finally depending on the modifications needed to the car you can claim back more tax if a lot of modifications are neeeded but you must hold onto the car for longer.
