Can someone else take him? I'm sure he'll understand you have more important things on! :D
    I agree.

But apparently I'm his good luck charm, he thinks he gets more game time when I'm there.

Standing next to his coach with a hurley surely couldn't be the cause of that though:cool:

Final Bundesliga games at 2.30, Allan starts for HB against Leverkusen who are on hard times relatively speaking these days.

Yikes. Dortmund are 1-0 down meaning as it stands they'll be in qualifying with (hopefully) us.

    2-1 up at HT.

2-2 now! Hoff are 0-0 so BVB are still third as it stands.

Is there long left lads? Not that I'm counting any chickens about tomorrow but I'd be very keen to avoid Dortmund being a potential opponent in a qualifier.
Not that Hoffenheim would be easy either.

Middlesbrough now 2 nil up, both City and Arsenal winning. Knew this would happen, we're screwed now. Europa league for us, what an end to the season.

Scored shirley they'll keep the lead from here.

    and breath...!

Bad News Barrett has jumped the fence and is now a liaison officer with Liverpool FC.

    http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/tony-barrett-liverpool-fan-role-13065914
Tony Barrett will lead Liverpool’s drive to give supporters a greater voice as part of an overhaul of how the club communicates with fans.

The Reds have today announced a new supporter engagement model to address the findings of a global independent research programme commissioned by the club last year.

As a result, Barrett will become Liverpool’s Head of Club and Supporter Liaison with the Reds keen to utilise social media platforms to increase interaction with their fanbase.

The ECHO’s former Liverpool correspondent, later of The Times and currently Joe.co.uk, will begin his new role next month.

He will chair, co-ordinate and manage five new fan forums as well as establish an ongoing dialogue with supporters and supporter groups on a more informal basis through social media to help understand key issues more immediately.

Four new fan forums will be created to focus on issues highlighted by fans during the research, which was undertaken by research specialists Populus last autumn.

These will centre on ticket availability, ticket prices, the stadium and local supporter engagement. A fifth forum, on equality and diversity, will also be created.

Nothing to worry about anyway, sure we'll get third.

Isn't Napoli finishing ahead of Roma what we want too?

Edit: Roma winning today anyhow, need to wait for the last game next weekend unless Napoli lose this evening. We have a higher coefficient than Roma I think, so want them to be in the playoff round, although wouldn't want them as the unseeded team if we were seeded anyhow.

Need to concentrate on getting at least 4th tomorrow first or it's all moot anyhow. An unlikely 3rd would be nice.

He's a Liverpool supporter, it's absorbed into the marrow as soon as the shirt goes on for the first time;)

It's the trying to avoid the scores till I can watch the game later will be the problem.

Theres gonna be some craic on here tomorrow if we slip up.

We're all wondering about the permutations of what other teams are up to and cheering on Dortmund etc....

But if the ****e hits the fan tomorrow this place will be some fun.

Yeah if CSKA match or better Zenit's result then it would appear that we'll be seeded.

So long as we don't make Middlesbrough's relegation look a tad ironic.

The Mirror are big on vaguely plausible Liverpool rumours these days.

Gray would be an interesting semi blank canvas for Klopp to work on - but would he come up with a J. M. W. Turner or a Jackson Pollock?

(as an aside The Telegraph report Real's e120m bid for MMMbop has been turned down.

If Liverpool win the Fair Play award tomorrow the money prize is £20k and the club will divide the money between season ticket holders aged 17 to 21 to discount tickets for next season.

The club is top of the fair play table as it stands.

Roma are in 2nd in Italy, they need to do worse than Napoli on the last day to finish in the playoff spot there, so you're a little off.

I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow. It may all go tits up, sure, but its great to have a meaningful game with the opportunity of CL football next year totally within our own hands.

Half tempted to bate on into Sinnotts tomorrow and watch the game there.

Mentioned him before, but at the right price I'd have no problem with Gray. Not as a starter, but as a pacy backup option, considering the number of games we'll have. Only just turned 20 a few days ago.

Was particularly thinking of him a bit earlier in the season, if Leicester went down. Might end up being tougher to get him at a suitable price now.

I'd have him in a heartbeat for under £20 million. Might be hard to get him though if they sell Mahrez.

I think he'd be good enough to become a regular.

He's just turned 30 & is available for €28m but if I was Klopp I'd take a look into trying to get Mertens from Napoli. Spent most of the season in a central role similar to Firmino but his goal return is much better.
I'd prefer to start buying established players as the likes of Grujic & Alexander Arnold haven't exactly seen more of the pitch than normal young players, even when we were playing bad I hoped Klopp would have thrown them on more than he has.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Gray definitely worth a punt at the price. It is odd he hasn't featured that much for Leicester. I reckon if they hadn't won the league he'd have got alot more opportunities though.

Alot of confidence in his dribbling, full of pace and looks like a decent finisher. Easy to make Ibe comparison mind but a bit more extra spark in this lad and alot more raw pace. Goal against United and that FA cup goal sort of proves that. Be an interesting addition no doubt if it happens. Bring much needed pace if anything

Hardly well picked examples of your point - Grujic spent much of the season crocked and Clyne for all his faults is always fit.

Any decent pubs I dublin city centre to watch the game?

We're as planned all going to trinity bar for the supporters club but the venue is tiny and a sweatbox. €4 a pint from 2 until 5 however!!

Went to the woodshed last Sunday and it was just full of Italians watching serie A. Great screen to watch the Liverpool game on though.

Grujic when he was on our bench has never played much & he was fit at the start of the season too. Think he's been fit since March but never got a start despite injuries to Lallana & Henderson.
Clyne has been poor despite his fitness record. He's already starting to remind me of Glen Johnson. Good start then his performance dropped once he realises he has no competition. Milner has outperformed him despite being played out of position. When Klopp did pick him it was out of position against Stoke which he struggled in naturally

I think clyne has been a let down. He doesn't do anything. He was way better at Southampton.

I like Clyne as a defender but once he crosses the half-way line I just have zero confidence in him to do anything other than give the ball away.

(he's bound to score a screamer today now) :D

Would certainly have him every day of the week over Adama Traore. Gray's a much better footballer.

I would'nt agree with that, rarely will you see Clyne give the ball away, and therein lies the problem, i'd like him to take a risk now and again, try and beat his man and stretch defences wide, playing too many square balls back to Matip won't win us a tight game with a packed defence.

Anywho, i'm going to miss the game today :( but on a positive note any game i've missed this year we've won, and won well. I won't get the chance to check in here until late tonight so hopefully by that time we're talking about a decent season finishing 3rd and not sickened and finish 5th.:pac:
