Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looked a double break of fibula and tibia, but really, really hope I'm wrong.

More off topic, but this is a full on, white face make up, red nose, huge shoes, collapsing car, clown show by Dunphy tonight. High time he was packed off to the glue factory.

Someone just sent me a still shot. Really wish he hadn't. Had to delete it. That bad.

Yeah it's brutal. I've seen quite a few of those down the years and I still can't stomach it.

I got the still shot on whatsapp. Is it real. Poor guy. Don't even care one of their best players is out for the derby.

Before the last derby, I indulged in a bit of thanks-hooring on here with a quip about Funes Mori to the effect that it would be 'just terrible' if something happened to him. Upon reflection, neither big nor clever. Pretty ****house of me, actually.

If Hugo Lloris is available this summer we'd be mad not to be doing everything in our power to get him.

Some weird quotes there alright, but his contract runs til 2022. As much as I'd love him we probably wouldn't spend the money required, which will probably be huge, and its probably unlikely he'd be interested.

We're going to finish behind Spurs yet again this season. Why would he move down?

Lloris will be Real Madrid's fall back position when they don't get De Gea

Liverpool Leg-Ends v Real Mardid Legends is 3 PM KO - LFCTV, facebook and LFCGo. Should be a laugh.

Karius will get another run as #1 before we go to market for a GK I think.

I reckon that also. I think left back, centre back and a striker are the main targets this summer. Add to that a winger and central holding midfielder

    Strong team:

#LFC Legends starting XI: Dudek, Kvarme, Carragher, Agger, Riise, Hamann, Gerrard, McManaman, Garcia, Fowler, Owen.#LFCRealLegends

Substitutes: Westerveld, Aldridge, Rush, McAteer, Babb, Henchoz, Kennedy, Smicer, Diao, Berger, McAllister, Thompson

    Bitta craic anyhow.

Yeah but for how long?! :p
Starting 11 vs Madrid Legends: Dudek; Tore Kvarme, Carragher, Agger, Riise; Hamann, McManaman, Gerrard; Luis Garcia, Owen, Fowler

Substitutes: Westerveld, Aldridge, Rush, McAteer, Babb, Henchoz, Kennedy, Smicer, Diao, Berger, McAllister, Thompson

I bet Rushie still looks the fittest of the lot.

Its actually the best team in a while. Normally in these legend matches you have Mjolby or whoever who can barely move about. Excited to watch a competitive game with legends where the team look fit and want to win!

    **** you Madrid!

Funny to think also that three of the starting 11 for Liverpool have actually played for Madrid.

I've no idea why I said 3. Senior moment. McManaman and Owen in both squads.

It's noticeable how much fitter a recently retired Gerrard is than anyone else out there really. 2 assists now for him.

I thought Aldo was Rushie ;)

Seedorf and Salgado look pin sharp still.

Aldo with two misses that are sitters.

Goal of Premiership quality from Gerrard.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Another fine finish Real Madrid are back in this, 4-3 Ruben de le Red

    Ref plays no added time

    FT 4-3. Good fun.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Gerrard is not a deep lying defensive midfielder, nor is is a high energy midfielder, what is is now and still could be for us is a midfielder of quality who should have ZERO defensive responsibilities and ZERO attacking or tracking responsibilities. He could still do that for someone if not us.

I think he's grand in the role he has now with the first team. It even has ZERO responsibilities.

It isn't exactly a ringing endorsement to say he stands out in a field of 40+ year olds, is it though?

    What was the final score?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Holland are losing and Wijnaldum was taken off at half time not sure if that was tactical or an injury.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

The Dutch really are a bit **** these days.
