How common is Diacetyl (and other Diketones) in ELiquid nowadays ?

HI, Im talking about Diacetyl, Acetyl Propionyl, Acetoin and all the Diketones. There was a big deal about these back in 2014, a lot of major ELiquid manufacturers had stuff recalled and but Ive heard a few stories of some companies still using it or old stock still in the wild. Does anyone have any more info on this ?.

Fairly common in anything cream or custard related. That was a bit of hysteria blown way out of proportion. Especially given how we don't know how safe the million other additives in flavourings are.

edit: Turns out TFA no longer do anything with diacetyl but they do still use acetoin, butanoic acid and acetylpropional
