New home - MPRN...

    Hello, we just got the keys to our new home. We we're wondering how to proceed to get the PRN (though we'll try to get in touch with the seller about it) - is there a way for you to find it back based on the meter number (RM#...)?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    To confirm, would you like to register as a customer with Electric Ireland? If so, and the property was previously registered to Electric Ireland, then a member of the Sales team may be able to locate the MPRN (meter point reference number).

    The Electric Ireland Sales team would require the RM/Serial number from the meter, as well as the address of the property. They can then look into this for you.

    If you would like to contact the Electric Ireland Sales team, they can be called on 1850 305 090, from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5:30pm on Saturdays.

    Alternatively, ESB Networks may be able to provide you with the MPRN of the property. Their contact information can be found online here.

    If the Electric Ireland Sales team, and ESB Networks, are unable to provide you with the MPRN, then the previous property owner or sales agent should be in a position to provide you with that information.
