Time between Approval in Principal to actual Mortgage Offer

    Hi all,

Thank you for your previous help. Just in relation to the above I'm after receiving approval in principal for a mortgage and the subsequent request for various documents to support my application. The thing is however I've submitted those documents over a month ago and have not heard a peep back.

I've contacted my local branch who've told me they'll get back to me on it however I'm wondering is there a general timeline for these things? My application is run of the mill and falls within the parameters of the central bank rules.

Is this normal? If not - is there a particular number I can call? The 6113333 number has an option for enquiring about a mortgage application..but when you select it the next menu is nothing to do with a customer who's enquiring but rather a branch enquiring about credit documents.

    Hopefully you can help.
