insuring Chinese phones

    Have any of you successfully insured your Chinese bought phones?

    I just tried insuring my Xiaomi Note 2 Grand Prime that I bought 1/1/16 on gadget insurance.is but there's a tick box that requires you to confirm that you bought the phone in the UK or Ireland from a VAT registered seller or from the USA. Needless to say I didn't bother.

    I'm just looking to see if any of you have insurance and who from!? Thanks in advance.

    Best insurance you can get is being careful - I've always found phone insurance to be not worth the money or hassle
