Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Amazing play by Lallana as he was on the bench when Coutinho scored.

Liverpool need a player like they had when Suarez was there, truly world class, the owners need to go and do something serious in the transfer market in the summer.

New to the PL etc, LFC is a tough gig too. I reckon he needs to be less fussy with signings, he had us firing well for almost half a season too.

Theres only so long that can be trotted out.

Conte and Guardiola arent doing that badly in less time in the league.

Lots of bets down the drain. Crazy result.

Why did it take 65 minutes to have a little bit of direct running?

New to the PL?? What's new in the world of football. You can win a pl and get sacked a couple of months later

yes, because all things are always equal.

Anyway he clearly DID adapt to the league, but then the league adapted to him, so now he has to readapt.

This is what happens when you're relying on a system to win, without the same array of incredible individual game-winning talents that some other teams possess. Which I would agree is a fault of the manage to an extent - we should have found more individual dynamism in January or even last summer. Something that absolutely HAS to be addressed this summer.

The rugby tackles in the box were greatly punished in the first round of games of the season, soon forgot about by the officials though. Uselsss

Where is the pressing? I know its hard to press a long ball side but still walking around letting the opposition have time on the ball disgraceful

Its a bit naive to be comparing Klopp to them surely?
They are recognised football management talents, whereas Klopp is just a nutty celebrity personality type isn't he?
Or is he considered to be a legitimate manager? always saw him as a breath of fresh air for MOTD and nothing more really.

Schmeichel turning into a fine keeper he is so like His dad seems like a decent leader and very vocal.

Suarez was an example of a world class player who played for Liverpool, I am simply saying Liverpool need to sign someone who is world class in the summer.

But if they do that they hinder Trent Alexander Arnold's progress to the Bournemouth first team in 2 or 3 years

Hes the 5th best manager in the top 6,IMO, so youve a point to a degree, in terms of his managerial career.

Clyne hardy gives us feck all .....
decent defender but nothing else and a team without natural width... more is required

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,024 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

****in' hell! So often someone gets on the ball after a lay off, and they take this ponderous touch into trouble instead of just shooting first time from the good position they already found themselves in.

    Maddening stuff to watch!
