Leicester players should have shame. It becomes more clear they would not give for the manager.

Its not always that simple ranieri was messing with the team alot this year he chopped and changed all over the place maybe they were frustrated with the setup.

just because he won the league last season if he is messing about to the point if chaos something has to be done.

they'll be back to this years norm after this game... Liverpool are the gifts of 3pts to a team in trouble..

    Thanks Leicster...4/1 I'll take that.

Can't believe Rodgers has a better managerial record than Klopp after 18 months on.

This is a massive blow to Liverpool chances to finishing in the Top 4.

Liverpool fans have put up with some dire performances this season but this is Dire.

All one can say of Liverpool is they're ****e and have had a really good start in their annual battle for 6th. Just a mid table backwater club

Klopp was the best manager ever seen until the end of December. Id love to read through a Liverpool superthread from then

Massive game in the battle for 7th.. I think Koeman has a very good Everton team that will pass out pool sooner rather than later

About April by all accounts but a long way to go before then. City are very hot and cold too.

To play like this after a 2 week break is unacceptable. Someone needs to be held accountable. Players need to feel the wrath of Klopp tonight .

Probably going to be mid April at the earliest depending on cup runs.

I'd say Sky will be hoping it's a late as possible so they can come up with another ridiculous moniker for it.

Ah that's a bit disappointing, was thinking it would be sooner and we'd have 4 of the top 6 squaring off in quick succession.

Klopp needs to go imo. Worse record than Rodgers and his signings have been dreadful with the exception of Mane and Firmino who blow hot and cold a lot.

Not convinced by Everton. They're playing Spurs away at the weekend. That'll tell us an awful lot about them. Can only see them being a 6th-10th team.

They did similar to City under Ranieri.

Leicester will probably continue to struggle.

Honestly you have exciting options in the final 3rd but the insistence that the press has to happen 100% of the time is madness. Good teams especially teams looking for space can draw the press and counter it effectively taking 3/4 players out of game by going direct and long.

    You also need a striker

If that's the case pep and Jose should be sacked too. You just can't keep sacking managers.

Exactly - we seem to be allergic to a simple bit of pragmatism every now and again. I'm not saying we should become a long ball team, but showing that we can do something different every now and again keeps the other team guessing, so we have more room to do what we're good at. But instead, if they set up to stop our one idea, we're incapable/unwilling to take advantage of the weaknesses that leaves open.

This been a decent match thread.

Why didn't Leicester players show that much passion for half the games this season and they be laughing.

Yup, sack a manager who is currently in 3rd with a game in hand. And a manager who had one cup already, in 3 more competitions and hasn't lost a game (over 2 legs) since October

Then you have Klopp. 18 months in and he's potentially going to end up in a similar position to last year's league finish
