Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any helpful Aussies living in Ireland?

    Hi

I'm trying to get teacher registration sorted before I make a move to Australia later this year. The Australian Teacher Registration Board are understandably looking for certified copies of my qualifications but they are being very awkward and will only allow copies to be certified at the Australian Embassy or by a doctor, nurse, teacher, pharmacist, police officer etc. licensed to practice in Australia (i.e. anyone normally allowed to certify documents in Australia). Unlike the Dept. of Immigration they won't allow an Irish solicitor, Commissioner for Oaths or a Garda which is crazy.
The fees at the embassy are extortionate for each certified copy of a document so I'm looking for some helpful Australian living in Ireland that could possibly help me out. I'll certainly give you some cash for your time.

    Thanks.

Have you tried the Ireland Australia Association? My parents belong. Unfortunately my mam is in Australia at moment so I don't have contact details but it meets every month in Dublin
