    Hi!

I ask you help to point me in the right direction, I would like to invest around EUR 150K into an apartment that I would be renting out.

I was thinking to buying around September, in Cork or Galway, something central, easily manageable and obviously very easy to rent.

What do you think? Where should I start looking?

Do you have any positive experiences with "purchasing groups" , where you are part of a rental pool?

    Thank you!

Honestly, if you look through any recent threads it's a dead investment (in my opinion anyway).

Put your money into government bonds if you want a safe, steady profit for the future.

I do appreciate the answer, thank you.

Can you point me towards a couple of sources of info to get myself an idea?
    Thanks!

    Search function here.

Also look at the rent increase mega thread.

GGtreks posts have sparked some lively debate.

Where do you live. Its only easily manageable if you are local to the property.

I found my answers.... Thread can be closed.

Better off investing in Luxembourg or into an irish REITs
