My email goes into my spam folder, so I won't get a notification! Here's to a day of checking and re-checking! If this date promise is unreliable, we may not get them today at all!! ðŸ˜

So Nervous I also didn't realise how much I wanted this. Best of luck to everyone and hope we don't have to wait much longer!

Was just thinking the same thing
Also what if they post them today and we have to wait 1-2 days till letters arrive
I'm sure it would be email though
Here's hoping they stick to the date they sent on the email stating the 11th!

Grah, between these results and waiting on hearing if i passed my interview for permanent CO competition almost 3 weeks ago I'm completely on edge. Hopefully at noon they release these anyhow.

Hi Necrominus, you mentioned you interviewed for the permanent CO competition. Is this HSE CO one not permanent also? I understood it was. Thanks.

Results out. Got result of 214 which places me in 99th percentile. They will contact us as vacancies arise in our areas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,244 ✭✭✭Guffy

So does the timing that you get the email indicate whether or not your through? Nothing yet :( (very early i know)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

    I'm in the 87th percentile.

Check your junk folder that's where mine was and usually their emails went to my inbox

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 983 ✭✭✭misslemon

They might be doing it by percentile? I'm 90th and Sarahlaois is 99th so I think they're doing them in batches?

We are delighted to let you know that your total score in the assessment is 155. This score places you in 55th percentile.

    Is this good or bad?

Always found it difficult to explain percentile. It basically means you are in the 99% percent range of applicants or that only 1% of applicants scored better than you.

If you were 60th percentile it would be that it took until the 61% for you to be outscored.... full sure i ballsed that explination up tbh but i hope you can pull the jist out of it.

Congrats Sarahlaois. Very impressive. Did you do any training for the online assessment or just the sample questions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 983 ✭✭✭misslemon

It says 69 and over was sufficient. Does that mean those below 69tg percentile are out?

    That's a big cut, but I suppose with 23,000 applicants it's necessary.

    Totally Average!

    Higher percentile = good
    Low percentile = not good

Well it can't mean that because Newport is in the 55th and they used the word delighted so they must be in.

    Ignore me.

Is the percentile based on a national basis or geographic basis?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60 ✭✭Haylesm

I got 94th percentile for Kerry.
No clue what that means 😂

So will I progress to the next stage based on that ?

Score of 210, 99th percentile as well.

Pity we don't know where we rank in our counties.

I had assumed it was for the region we picked, never considered it could've been on a national basis

Well you rank in the top 1% i know its not a 1-100 type ranking but its pretty high. Its as high as you can be.

If there is 20000 apllicants nationally, on a national basis you would be in the top 200, which will be broken down further from a geographical standpoint

Total score 203, 98th percentile. Do you know if thats overall or just for the area you applied to. I imagine in Dublin this score might be good enough but Cork........

I'm delighted, all the practice tests paid off lol

The percentile are batches, the very goods will be done first and when they are exhausted they will move down to the good band and then the sufficient for each county.

Not quite, it just means she got a better or equal score than 99% of applicants.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54 ✭✭Waffleturd

Score of 180 in the 88th percentile (applied for Waterford, so not sure if that score is national or regional). Well done to all the 99ers here! Time to put it out of mind until/if we hear anything about next stage.
