Here is the link to this issue on Reddit.

A guy is having an issue with his physical copy of Halo 5 after his Game Pass membership expired. It won't let him play his disc copy. It keeps directing him to either buy the game or renew his Game Pass membership.

It looks like Major Nelson is all over that issue. Fair play.

Would a hard reboot not solve that?
I'm assuming that no one has tried it, as they never do

I have 1 game not showing due to this bug. However I checked and I could still install it from the store.

Can you still play games after they rotate out of game pass? Or do they only get taken away if your subscription expires?

You need to purchase the game to continue playing games that have rotated out.

Don't hold me to it, but I think with SOT it did include the wins 10 version. so as long as city skylines is play anywhere I think it would be.

I don't think it's play anywhere unfortunately, just happens to be available on both.

Unfortunately i purchased late shift. Its an interesting concept, but plays out poorly.

Just subscribed to Game Pass. Any recommendations of what to start with. I’m not a fan of Halo and want to keep Gears 4 until I get a 4K screen.

It depends on what type of game you want to play really, Dirt rally is very good, Sunset Overdrive is excellent, Rise of the Tomb Raider is good too, I enjoyed Dead Rising 3, Fable Anniversary got an update recently, Mad Max is good fun, State of Decay is good too if you haven't played it and I thought Super Lucky's Tale was not bad. I know you don't like Halo but what about Halo Wars? I haven't played either but both are in Game Pass too. There are bound to be some good ones that I missed too.

State of decay would be worth a punt, the sequel will be coming in May straight to Game Pass too.

Sea of thieves is pretty, but not everyone cup of tea. Good fun if your in a crew with your mates, or even if you're laughed into a decent crew with randomers.

You can redeem it, I sent it to the same hotmail account I use for my gamertag and there was no problem redeeming it at all, works out cheaper that way too.

Yeah it's great value for €7 per month, it's also weird that we get it discounted but some other countries don't, makes a nice change.

****ing Game Pass. Playing NBA 2K17 the last while and notice it's gone off Game Pass this morning. No warnings, no nothing. Check out how much it is in the store. 70e for a game that's been out over 18 months!

That was only added in Feb as well wasn't it?

3 months only if shockingly poor form.

There is a section on game pass in the store to see what is expiring soon. It's no surprise that there weren't shouting this from the roof tops

It could be something to do with a license issue, think similar to Netflix when something is removed and put back up a few days/weeks later.

WWE 2K17 was taken off it aswell.

Tbh though I did see the section "leaving on the 30/4" and it included NBA and WWE.

The 2 games were only added in February though which is a bit ****.

PES 18 that was just added is only available until 31/8.
