Sorry, complete newbie question here. I started gtav yesterday, played an hour or two and saved after the first couple of missions. Now I go back in today and it starts automatically from the beginning?!

The saved games are not there when I go to load even though I can see the trophy details that I earned yesterday.

It seems v odd, when I closed the game yesterday it was prompting me to upload my save data to PlayStation plus online or to a USB stick. I didn't want to join PS Plus and didn't have a USB handy so I assumed it would be saved to the hard drive.

Am I missing something really obvious here? I don't really want to start all over again...
