So I've had iPhones for the last 10 years and I have an SE at the moment which is very small.

I've been intrigued by the One Plus for a while but I'm a bit nervous about getting used to android.

Is it an easy transaction re: music as I use my phone for music (I teach fitness classes).

Also, is the google bar thing on the top of the home screen optional? As in all the images of the phone I see it's there and I don't like it 😬

    Any help much appreciated.

The google bar can be removed, I moved from a iOS to Oneplus and couldn't be happier.

As far as i remember there is a specific option to transfer data from an iOS device when you are settings up the phone.

Great thank you. They seem to offer a 15 day no hassles returns and they pay for the return postage costs so I'm really tempted.
I presume I can just take my nano sim out and pop it in and try it out and hope o like it and if not send it back.

Do you know if I can transfer data at a later time if I didn't want to do it at set up incase I want to return it.

Any idea how long delivery takes?

But that's only the default launcher! It's there because of the agreement all Android manufacturers sign with google.
You can install a launcher that gives you the look and feel of iOS.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ilauncher.i10launcher.ios10
My advice is to try about 15-20 launchers before you decide on the one that suits you best - the same with icons!

If you used your phone for music before then something like Double Twist is probably for you!
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.doubleTwist.androidPlayer

Also, if coming from iOS, you are probably unaware that badly programmed apps can sometimes give you the feeling your Android device has bad battery life. In which case, you need this
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector.noroot

If you liked the calendar on iOS, you might like this one
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.calendar especially as a widget!

I would talk about llama https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kebab.Llama and Tasked https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm but you probably know all about them!

But, your biggest concern should be the move from the small screen iSE to the massive screen OP3T! Big difference in the pocket!

Great, thank you so much, that's very helpful.

I had a iPhone 6 but it broke and I couldn't afford to replace it so I bought the cheapest iPhone in the shop which was the SE and it's just too small.

Do you think there would still be a big difference between the size of an iPhone 6 and the OP3T?

One thing to remember before moving from an iPhone to Android is to make sure to disable iMessage in your account.

Thanks, I've kind of been changing my mind about this. Not very tech savvy, I thought because the OP3T has 16 camera front and rear that it was far superior to the iPhone 6s plus but that doesn't seem to be the case from reviews I've read.

I thought the higher the number the better the camera now? I have a 1.2 front camera on the SE so I thought a jump to a 16 on the OP3T was going to be way better than a jump to 5 on the Iphone 6s plus?

I'm now presuming that my understanding is arseways!

The megapixel number of the camera is important, but not as important as the quality of the lens.

Honestly unless you're into taking professional quality photos or it's something you're particularly passionate about, neither you nor anyone looking at your photos will notice the difference between the cameras on the top-end phones.

A lot of fuss is made about the cameras on phones, but for the majority of people the differences are meaningless and unnoticeable.

It certainly isn't worth the €350 difference between the 1+ and the 6s+. For that price you could buy a 1+ and a DSLR camera that wipes the floor with any phone camera.

The back camera on the SE is fine, I do take a lot of photographs and videos for work, I'm in the fitness industry. I had a 6 before but it broke and I had to replace it quickly and opted for the se on the day but I noticed a hugh difference dropping to the 1.2 on the front even though I noticed no difference on the rear.

However, I don't take any type of selfies now as a result and I use my work partners phone. I just presumed a jump from 1.2 to 16 would have been massive compared with 1.2 to 5 but then again I was always absolutely delighted with the quality when I had my 6 which I miss dearly.

Thank you for explaining though, I know more than I knew earlier!
