    Hi I'm currently getting rent allowance but want to start to work, the landlord I have now won't accept hap. So I have a viewing for somewhere new tomorrow that accepts hap? I'm just wondering is it possible to go from rent allowance to hap in a different accommodation and how much am I intitled to rent I'm a single parent with one child? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Yes you can get HAP in another property as long as the landlord accepts it ,it depends on what part of the county your in for rent limits
