Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Both players should be deservedly off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

United getting all the decisions as usual. Joke.

  • Both nasty
    Both will be retrospectively punished

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Scandalous getting stamped intentionally on the head.

    Homer Friend

The big sides get the big decisions but as it was not seen he'll be given a retrospective ban

Oh, Bournemouth are down to ten!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Jaysus what's after going on. Absolutely madness.

Both should be off and the red to surman is farcical.

    Ehhh

If ibra went so should the guy who stamped on his head

Both Mings and Ibrahimovic should be off.

Zlatan should be off for sure.

Can't blame Zlatan for getting back there. Stamp on the head was disgusting.

2 more should be off - Mings and Ibra

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,117 ✭✭✭jacool

Joke ref, bottled that. Should be 3 off.

No it's not. Suman deserved his red but ibra should have been given his marching orders too

Ibrahimovic to score a offside winner...

Ibrahimovic should have knocked his head off after that stamp the dirt bag.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Absolute bull**** from the officials. Mings and Zlatan should be off.
But Surman's the only one that gets carded? Joke.
6 or 7 other players should have been booked if it was for showing dissent to the ref.

    This is gas.

Ref didn't see the stamp, he was looking at Ibras and bottled it.

  • Il tell you what mings is shocking, that would piss off anyone

Ref is doing everything he can for Bournemouth

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Wait, who got sent off and why?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Pretty sure Luke shaw was the one to come over and let the ref know he had booked surman already.

    Whatever!
    He didn't see either clearly
    Mings was arguably worse

His head got stamped on and he gave an elbow back in return. Nothing wrong with it. In fact, he should be applauded.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Should be 10 v 9 at the moment, some big calls missed.

Not that uit will matter in the long run.

Sorry, I thought it was surman that stamped on ibra but it was mings

Blimey it's all kicking off, or could in the tunnel.

Bournemouth seem like such nice boys as well!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

What is wrong with Ibra today? Absolutely awful. Should have buried that chance

Why was he talking to Ibra for ages so? Clearly bottled it.

Time to breathe and Jose to calm things down and get things back on the right track.

Another week and it's all about a ref having a shocker.

Surman, second booking for tackle on Ibra which put him on the ground pre head stamp I think

Arguably? Its ten times worse. He stamped on his head. I hope he gets broken up

How do you know what he seen? Both should have been sent off, ****in stupid stuff all around.

Zlatan and Mings will get retrospective bans, the ref will say he didn't see either incident no doubt

Mings was absolutely worse and **** it I'm delighted Zlatan got him back.

Bloody help game has had it all! I'd be dissapointed if both aren't retrospectively punished.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,978 ✭✭✭BenK

United need to start focusing on winning this match and leave the niggly stuff to Bournemouth. Bournemouth are very poor.

Of course you can. He is supposed to be professional. He and Mings both deserve bans.

Surman sent off for second yellow for dissent.

Dirty stroke for kick on Zlatan's head, took his own revenge.

Not sure what ruling on Zlatan will be after. The ref spoke to him so technically he saw it and it can't be revisited?

For pushing ibra to the ground after he elbowed Mings.

Fancy Arter to be sent off in 2nd half too already booked.

So you are saying ibra should be off and that's that?

    OK cool story!

Zlatan is going to miss Chelsea in the cup on the back of that. TBH I would be taking him off and getting Rashford on, to save him from any more bother (including any possible further retaliation)

He probably felt guilty to still be on on the last one :p

Exactly, Ibra should be off as well but at least I can understand why he reacted. He was wrong to react and should be off for what he did as well but for me the head stamp was a much worse red.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Zlatan will need a rest anyway.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Another week and it's all about a ref having a shocker.

It's remarkable just how bad they've got, the level of fouling is no higher, the level of feigning and sneaky **** is no higher and yet they now miss so much.

Friend was losing control of thus game from early. From letting Afobe away with a barge, some tastey Bournemouth tackles and Ibra acting like he's never dealt with a bit of needle in his career.

Utd getting out of jail here.
