It would be great if there were some tornado activity.

Well not any damage done on people.
But ye know what I mean.:)

West Laois - plenty of rumbles from approaching front, some really impressive looking CBs.

Just when you think it is all over, a massive boom towards the end of the front passing through here (West Laois). No hail though, just heavy rain.

There was a flash and a big rumble of thunder in Clondalkin around five minutes ago. There didn't seem to be much between the flash and the rumble!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,177 ✭✭✭pad199207

Flash of lightning just lit up the whole house here in Naas

Looking at the radar echo's I can't help but feel that this event has peaked.

Looking at the radar echo's I can't help but feel that this event has peaked.

Lots of small but beefy cells developing in SW areas in the past hour and moving nicely NE into southern midland areas now. This evening could be very interesting as we reach peak potential in the coming few hours. It's not over yet.

Thunder and lightning here in Edenderry.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,236 ✭✭✭highdef

Cracking storm with monsoon like rain just passed over near Enfield. Kilcock will have got some show. Have counted 14 rumbles and cracks in the past 10 minutes. Shows up well on radar, if you look around Kilcock.

    Small but very electrified!

A brief downpour near Limerick city. You think it bad enough for thunder but there is no spark in it yet as I post.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭dexter647

A few more distant rumbles to my south here in south Laois, and just when I thought it was nearing it's end:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,177 ✭✭✭pad199207

A bit of a rev on things now alright. Laois area looking interesting

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭dexter647
