A man has been arrested following a public order incident on the Luas Red Line at Goldenbridge in Dublin 8.

It is understood the man pulled the emergency brake causing the tram to stop suddenly.

One person received minor injuries and was treated by emergency services at the scene.

The arrested man was taken to Sundrive Garda Station.

There were long delays for a time on the Red Line as a result of the incident, with many commuters posting their frustration on social media.

Had a friend who was a telegraph operator back in the day. He and his mates used to converse in the canteen by tapping on the table, just to piss the boss off. Learned IDGAF from him.

Do it OP! Don't give up yet! I met my fella on the Dart. Though circumstances were rather different, we were both drunk, and both can't stfu when we're drunk, talking to any random stranger who will entertain us, so worked out wonderfully for us when we sat opposite each other.

And even if it doesn't end happily ever after, it is lovely to be asked out!

Hand her a note saying "I've got a gun, get off at the next stop with me or I will kill you right now". Point your finger in your pocket to make it look convincing. Have a laugh with her after she gets off with you at the next stop, telling her it was only a joke and you just wanted to ask her out. Alternatively, when you are sentenced for harassment and threatening behaviour, then I'd probably just forget about her.
