Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey guys just wondering is 300 euro too much for an 8 week gym programme? it's covering exercise plans and nutrition plans as well as weekly check-ins and alterations if necessary

Where in the country are you? 150e a month for programming and nutrition sounds steep, is gym membership included? Is there actual PT as in a trainer works with you for a workout 1-1?

There's a free programme on here that was supplied by Hanley, very straightforward and easy to follow.

I would suggest do that, augmented by two or three PT sessions to nail technique on the compound lifts if you are brand new to the gym.

It's worth as much as you want it to be.

You can pay big bucks (or small bucks for that matter) for someone to hand feed you information or you can research things yourself.

Both useless without the discipline and ability to change habits.

It's an online programme with weekly check ins. I've been at the gym now for about two years and struggling to put on proper bulk. Tried online gym programmes that were free but got no joy out of it. Price seems a bit steep but his results are second to none..

You are paying for the coaching more so than the program itself.

The value really depends on the quality of that.

The results that he advertised are second to none. You've no way of really knowing what his typical result it

Are you eating a calorie surplus to put on size?

What's your diet like? To me it sounds like you just need to eat more. A program is just a piece of paper at the end of the day.

For someone who's training purely to gain size, you can do any sort of resistance training and still put on muscle as long as you're eating enough.

It's not steep if you're getting results. Take into account its two months. How tailored is the programme. Ask about their qualifications?
