So Renault is showing off a driveable concept EV at Geneva in the form of the ZOE e-Sport.
Supposedly they'll be doing some exhibition races with it throughout the year.

41kWh pack with high discharge cells (50% higher weight pack than the ZOE 41)
    320kW (~460hp) dual-motor AWD outputting 640Nm of torque
Double wishbone suspension & Öhlins dampers
1450kg kerb weight aided by Carbon fiber and aluminium replacements for some stock body parts

    0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds
    0-210km/h in under 10 seconds
    210km/h limited top speed

At full power (max acceleration) the battery will be empty in 7 minutes though :p

Yeah but you can just recharge it and do it all over again. ;)

You'd accelerate at full power only for a moment then use maybe 18-20 Kw to sustain about 100 Kph. It would be thrilling though for some fun !

Fair enough, there's a bit of regen too. So you could do maybe 8 or 9 minutes of full power acceleration, so from 0-210km/h about 50 times, each time then coasting / regen braking to a halt, before you finally run out. Not bad :D

How about that for your ultimate pulse & glide, mad_lad :p

It would be mental fun that's for sure ! :D

If it could charge at 150-200 Kw even better ! :D
