Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bosch fridge freezer

    Hi all
    Just this evening fridge freezee stopped working. And has defrosted completely. I turned it on and I hear the motor/compressor Trying to start and cuts out after a few seconds. I have tried different setting to no avail. It intergated and I have taken it out but see no leaks.
    Is it knackered ?
    Could it be repaired and how much do u think it would cost ( ball park figure (
    Have I missed something I could do

    that sounds as though one of the windings of the compressor is faulty unless its quite an old unit with a wire wound relay, these used to stick whereas the later units are solid state and rarely become faulty. nowadays a compressor change is a rarity and too expensive c200 euro
