    this may be a weird topic but it's for a story I swear.
    a character has been taken captive and left without food and with very little water for several days. I was wondering -
    1) how long she could survive this
    2) what the effects would be
    3) what sort of treatment would she need after
    4) how long would it take to recover

    I'll bite. You are posting in the biology forum. Please give me specifics. Without detail, how the can you expect anyone to respond to your post?

    I mean.... "very little" and "for several days"

    How much is very little? how many days are several? S
