I used to get these in Lidl. Not the noodle cups, but the instant noodle packs that cost like 20cents each, but they're no longer stocking them at my local Lidl. Have they been withdrawn?

Anyway, I'm looking for alternatives. The Aldi ones contain milk. Not sure if any of the Tesco branded ones are vegan or not? Are there any own brand/cheapo ones that are vegan? Not keen on paying €1 a pop for the fancy brands!

The cheapo tesco noodles do not have milk in the ingredient section, but in the allergy section it says, may contain egg. That might just be to cover their asses. At the price they sell them 12 cents, I doubt there's anything as expensive as egg in them, it's just flour, oil and salt.

You could try making your own.

I very almost bought those earlier, but after reading the label for about the 5th time I finally spotted that they contain dried chicken. Annoying!

Yeah those are the ones. The chicken powder is only in the foil wrap in the chicken noodles, I don't think it's in the curry ones. It's probably not actual chicken, but chicken flavouring.

I dunno, I don't trust it. They also have these chow mein ones that look vegan going by the ingredients alone, but they don't show up on tescos vegan products list, so again I'm unsure.

The only way to be sure, what's in your food is to make it yourself. Pasta, which is they same as noodles, is easy to make, once you get hang of it. if you're going to be vegan, you need to learn to cook or go mad. Noodles are hard to make by hand, but most pasta isn't. Olive oil, salt, a little water, flour, and a food processor, then a roller....Ravioli is the easiest to make first...get the hang of it, you'll never eat supermarket noodles again.
