House alarm where to start

    Looking for house alarm and install

    3 bed house attached pre wired for alarm
    Where do I start. Did some research online. And im more lost now.

    Any help would be great. Totally. Lost.

    Plenty of threads on here with regards a new systems.
    All depends what you want also.

    If choosing a system make sure you get a hybrid system.
    This will give you the ability to add wire free devices to your system, be that smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, Pirs for areas that cables are not installed.

    With the wired end you need to cover all accessible windows and doors if cabled for.

    Are you looking for monitoring with Garda response?
    Are you looking for self monitoring?

    Im thinking self monitoring. As budget is tight
    Any recommendations. On genuine. Alarm companys.
    A guy from angle keeps calling to the house. Trying to force an alarm system on us. But I just dont trust him way to pushy

    No one can force anything on you.
    Here is a link for the PSA website which has a link of installers.
    Id advise getting a few quotes and take it from there.

    When shopping around beware of the cheaper prices. They are usually the ones tying you to monthly or annual payments etc.
