Hailo->MyTaxi = Not available in your country

    Am in limerick...used hailo a lot now tells me need to install and use mytaxi instead...then says not available in your country??
    Anyone else have this problem or have info...
    can't find anything online other then recent articles saying hailo has transferred to mytaxi in ireland..

    I upgraded to mytaxi on Wednesday.

    Its working for me in Galway.

    Your phone or your google account are set to the wrong region.

    Did you say no when it asked to use your current location? Maybe if they can't tell where you are automatically ti defaults to 'not available here'

    You don't explicitly tell the app where you are, you allow it access your location on the go in order that it will work in any city where the service is provided.

    As you mentioned Google, I assume you have an Android phone. Go to Settings/Applications/Application Manager then scroll to MyTaxi, select it and tap on 'Permissions', then switch on 'Location'.

    I had to re-install Hailo today. I wanted to pre-book a taxi for tomorrow, and MyTaxi told me that for the time being I have to do pre-booking through Hailo.

    yup i'm opening Hailo which then gives me a link to download mytaxi
    but when opens mytaxi on playstore says "not available in ur country"

    MyTaxi isn't downloaded so can't change any settings on it!

    i think its because i moved back from australia a year ago.

    i've seen posts online about updating ur google wallet settings, but when open that it also says not avialble in ur country or using business account...
    then redirects to google payments.
    in there I changed to country ireland and added irish card yesterday in google paymens, also cleared data google playstore app and restarted

     doesn't seem to have made difference
