Bridal Shop start up

    Hi,
    I am thinking about opening up a bridal shop in a highly populated town in which there is a niche in this market.
    I'm wondering does anyone have any advise re sourcing bridal gowns & estimated mark up on same? Do suppliers supply free samples or do they have to be purchased?

    Mark ups are generally quite high as its obviously not a volume business. Are you planning on designing your own, doing wholesale or some form of commission based structure? How much experience do you have in the industry it's not an easy one to be getting into at all.
