FYI: I queried this with the garage and they told me that the car no longer comes with a key.. Its imbedded in the intelligent fob and it also works on the door.. I only tried it to lock/unlock and not when alarm etc armed Okay, I should have read the book

It will behave the same as a mechanical key, usually on cars with keyless start the mechanical key will disarm the alarm and operate the airbag switch.
