Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Costa has no concept of shame.

Need to take Costa off before he does something stupid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

He knew what he was knowing when he did what he did when he tackled how he did.

    He's such an unlikable character

No need for Costa to be at that crap. He's improved on that score a lot this season but every now and then he's back at it.

Ah Costa, come on like... at least save it for the dodgy looking moments.

    A despicable human being.

Should be off for simulation that's twice nown

Funnily enough this is the first time since Jose was in charge that Costa has acted up, he brings out the best in Costa it seems.

If I am reading correctly, 40 apps in total, 19 starts...

Edit: 18 for Utd, didn't see the 1 for country at first

Kantes general play has improved so much at Chelsea.

    Bit of hyperbole, that

His general play was pretty phenonemal last year also. Almost just as technically capable, and won a league. Probably not as noticeable as he was playing under different tactics with different, less quality players around him.

Yup let's put it down to the opposing manager on the sidelines.

    Listen to yourselves lol

10 in the league, 8 in the cups (combined)
Still not bad for a teenager though.

Well he did get the "best" out of him for a good 18 months before he got fat 2 summers ago and played like a Sunday league merchant.

How's those chips M!Ck^ full of vinegar and salty tears by now I'm guessing.

How many more times are you going to try to derail the thread with weird digs? Some decent discussion going here

    Kante really is unreal.

This is poor from united, no leaders out there at all

You dont have to believe me but Costa hasnt been nowhere near as aggresive and hes not picking fights under Conte.

Simeone and Jose played to his darker side and it got results.

They've 10 men and played in Russia a few days ago, they have to rely on a Rashford counter and it nearly worked already.

Costa was standing on one foot and Rojo looks to have stamped down on that foot. As much as I'm not a fan of Costa I hate that sort of stuff even more. If Rojo intentinonally stamped he needs a lengthy bad as that was really really dangerous stuff.

Costa's own play acting likely shot himself in the foot there.

Side note: Willian's new hair is freaking me out a bit. He just looks so completely different.

Valid point Mick but 30+ starts is a bit of a stretch! Most first name on the team sheet players would be doing well to have 30+ starts at this stage.

Chelsea are really good. It's scary to think that if they hadn't cheaped out and instead coughed up the extra £60 million, they could have had Pogba intead of Kante.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

I'm not normally one for hyperbole but Chelsea actually won the league on the 16th of July and it only cost them £32m. That's how brilliant Kante is. There isn't a midfielder in the world I'd rate higher at the moment, although Vidal isn't miles off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Oliver bottled that one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

    That's potentially a straight red.

Pogba's hard man walk is up there with Mark Clattenburg and Joey Barton in things in football that tilt the absolute f*ck out of me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,773 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Time for changes obviously and might as well go for it now. Pogba shud be one to come off but Jose hasn't taken him off yet.

Still baffles me that they paid all that money for pogba

Absolute stonewall red card. Any kind of two-footed challenge is, very poor from Oliver.

Don't remember many fergie teams settling for a one nil defeat, cup semi final '99 down to 10 men? That team didn't lay down did they?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

That was a red card all day.

    They got away with that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,561 ✭✭✭Umaro

Utd players losing the heads. Might see another red before full-time.

How is valencia still on the pitch. Two bad tackles and no yellow.

The boot being left in during the last few tackles.

Wow that's a fair challenge according to Keown!

Thought Valencia was very lucky there!

    Great player

Looks like the double for Chelsea now. No Europe, 10 points clear, playing excellently. Spurs w/o Kane it seems, Arsenal......well and City....well.

Hopefully I am wrong though! Hopefully some sort of miracle tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,298 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

Definite yellow there and Valencia could have been off
