His general play was pretty phenonemal last year also. Almost just as technically capable, and won a league. Probably not as noticeable as he was playing under different tactics with different, less quality players around him.

Costa was standing on one foot and Rojo looks to have stamped down on that foot. As much as I'm not a fan of Costa I hate that sort of stuff even more. If Rojo intentinonally stamped he needs a lengthy bad as that was really really dangerous stuff.

Costa's own play acting likely shot himself in the foot there.

Valid point Mick but 30+ starts is a bit of a stretch! Most first name on the team sheet players would be doing well to have 30+ starts at this stage.

Chelsea are really good. It's scary to think that if they hadn't cheaped out and instead coughed up the extra £60 million, they could have had Pogba intead of Kante.

I'm not normally one for hyperbole but Chelsea actually won the league on the 16th of July and it only cost them £32m. That's how brilliant Kante is. There isn't a midfielder in the world I'd rate higher at the moment, although Vidal isn't miles off.
