    Has anyone experienced this problem before my cousin who lives in the usa is a frequent visitor to Ireland and wishes to buy a car in Ireland but has been quoted 4,000 plus his international drivers licence is not accepted therefore he has to sit the irish driving test. Has anyone ever come across this before and is there an alternative solution. Any advice would be welcomed.
