    I believe this is going to be available on EIR soon?

    You will be happy to know Eurosport 1 & 2 is now available on eir Vision. The channels are available in the Experience Pack (€10/month) and are also available in HD (for an additional €5 if not already subscribed to HD) You can view the experience pack here.
