Saw the tesco 3 for E5 offer but was not interested. Then was in ALDI and they have packs of five Cadbury Creme Eggs for E2.49.

Dunnes Stores had 12 for a fiver a few days ago, may still be available. Generally 12 for EUR 6 in Dunnes / Tesco etc.

Those tesco ones were 5 for 5 until recently.

5 For 5.00 valid from 8/3/2017 until 14/3/2017

dunno if it will go to 5 for 5 again.

At the moment it says
Any 3 For 5.00 valid until 16/4/2017

If it does drop to 5 for 5 again that is like getting your 5 creme eggs for 2.50, and then 5x100g chocolate eggs for 2.50 too.

150g thorntons eggs were 5 for 5 too, but there were none in my tesco.
