Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Manchester-United-vs-Rostov.jpg

Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly miss out through suspension.

Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are doubts after missing the Chelsea defeat.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic should return.

FC Rostov will be without midfield pair Aleksandr Gatskan and Timofei Kalachev who are both suspended after picking bookings in the first leg.

Jose Mourinho's side are unbeaten in their last 15 European matches played at home (inc qualifiers, W12 D3).
Of teams to have played from the Group Stage onwards in the 2016-17 Europa League, Manchester United have the highest average possession figure (62.4%).
The Red Devils' striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored five goals from just nine shots on target in the UEFA Europa League this season.
No side has managed to keep more clean sheets in the UEFA Europa League this season than Manchester United (5).

Saw nothing last week to put any fear in me of Rostov but with a once off game you never know.

    2-0 United.

Sky saying it will be 343 but i think Blind could be playing the Carrick role. Cant see a change of formation

    MUTV saying 3-4-3 as well.

I'd say it's defo 3/5 at the back, whatever you want to call it.
Can't understand Blind playing Lwb though he's not exactly quick.

Ugh, hate that formation. Not sure what the need for the change is about this late in the season.

I'll review my score estimate down to 15 nil to United now.

He was excellent in the world cup playing as LWB.

Terrible not to lay it back for the open goal shot.

Feck the BBC anyway, their website made it look like they were going to do live commentary on R5 but they're not, they only have a text commentary on the website (one sentence every 5 mins)

So a little more detail please :)

They can't pack the box all game. They're losing as it stands so they'll have to come out and take some risks in the second half. Hopefully United can stay patient and finish them off when they do.

Moyesie would be proud of that first half, Zlatan being quite selfish and our attack is suffering as a result.

Pogba has done more bad than good.

Pogba has been the best player on the pitch easily. Loads of Nice passes gave the ball away once i think and took a wild shot.

Gave the ball away leading to a dangerous Rostov counter, simple pass out wide went out for a goalkick and blasted the freekick over the bar.

Not what you'd expect from a 100 million pound man
