Hi, my house is approximately 180 years old.
As i am interested in local history, how do i get a list of peoples names who once owned my property?
    thanks.

Try Thom's Directory. Your local library might have the relevant ones.

Is / was it a commercial property at any time?

You might post here: boards.ie > Society & Culture > History & Heritage > Genealogy

The rates Office will have details of the rated occupiers back decades. The Registry of Deeds will also have the transfer deeds going back to the start. You should have been given the original lease with your title. Start with that and trace forward in the Registry of deeds.
