I didn't know the Scarlet Pimpernel was gay.

Colton Haynes. You might know him from that TV show "Arrow". Very surprised when I heard it because you don't see too many macho type guys coming out publicly. Good for him.

My husband's friend came out on Facebook recently. He lost several clients afterwards. Maybe this is due to the fact that he was going out with and almost married to a woman not that long ago.

Really ? That's mad ! would his client base be a bit older maybe, or likely to be conservative/religious ?

I really wouldn't have thought it'd make a blind bit of difference nowadays.

I'm not sure. He's over in England. That's what I thought, myself. Either that or they are friends with his ex girlfriend. Still a bit petty though, since his personal life doesn't affect his work (and he's good at it, and not expensive).

I thought nobody bats an eyelid these days. I can't work it out.

[QUOTE Also, Jeff Goldbum - I was totally shocked by that one.[/QUOTE]

Are you sure? He recently married his third wife and had a baby less than two years ago.

Plenty of eyelids being batted still, approx 750,000 out of 2,000,000 voted NO in the Marriage Referendum. I know that's not a direct barometer of sentiment towards homosexuality but it's closely related and it's a huge chunk of society that opposed it, over 1 in 3 people.

To see such direct spite against someone they'd previously got along with and had done business with still surprised me. As you say those NO votes weren't a direct barometer..we don't know exactly why they voted that way.But there's no mistaking why those people shunned this man.

Yeah, I was playing with my faeces or something. Nevermind.

Goldblum is too sexy for just one sexuality anyhow.

You don't have to deep throat if you're not comfortable with it.
