Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The way jones's arm is swinging back makes it look worse. No contact as such when ref sees the arm swinging and a player go down I can see why he gave a yellow.

Should be 2 yellows for Boro there, especially after the soft one for Jones.

Rashford could do with working on his end product a bit.

His confidence in finishing off chances has dropped immensely. He seems to be told to lay it off rather than shoot. Must be frustrating for him after having such a free role with smaller expectations last Spring

This is it. The chance was 50% gone once he took that little glance behind him.

Tbf Boro have put together some really slick moves, just lacking a bit of quality when it comes to the final touch/pass/cross/finish.

Man Utd's attack based around Rashford's pace and Fellaini off De Gea's restarts.

McManaman talking absolute nonsense about the back 3. We're playing with a back 4 you sap. Hoddle tries politely to tell him instead of just saying its a back 4.

If Rashford is trying to "step up" in Ibras absense, he's making a balls of it.

Rashford will be some player when he learns to make better decisions. That will come with time.

Frustrating to see Val getting so many chances to cross and fluff his lines every single time. I hope he proves me wrong in the 2nd half but this match should be over already with even 2 decent balls in from him. Instead over hit or finding no-one every single time

He's got a chip on his shoulder.

  • Oh yes, man utd boards
Anybody notice the build up play in midfield? The link up play with rashford, lingard?
Nah, it was all about De geas long balls to Fellaini

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭The Talking Bread

I think this particular Boro team are one of the most forgettable Premier League teams in history. Not the WORST team there has been but just going through the motions all season. At least Sunderland have produced a few moments! And given us Pickford and Defoe and the Moyes debacle!

I didn't. 39% possession, 3 Boro players have the highest number of passes completed in the game so that'd suggest the stats didnt see it either. Lingard has done well when he's come inside but no point trying to sell us on stuff that clearly isn't there. Man Utd under Mourinho play a certain way, trying to convince us that what we're watching isn't real veers into alternate facts territory.

    5. 1000 – Middlesbrough’s next defeat will be their 1000th defeat in the Premier League and Boro would be the 14th team to achieve the unsavoury milestone.

    How can that be right.

Losing 38 games a season that would still take 26 years. In reality it would take 52 years assuming you get promoted the following season each time...

    Scrap the cap!

    rashford?

I've been super impressed with him. Unlucky not to have at least 1 goal.
