We brought the eldest at about 18 months,it gets very hot so make sure you have the spf suits for her,a hat, plenty of suncream and if she still uses a buggy make sure it has a large sunshade.
It was a nice place but I don't remember much as I was pregnant and super sick.

We stayed in sentido aqueous last year with a 2 and 3 year old. It worked perfectly, we did full board as it worked cheaper to do this than half board and we still ate out more than half of the nights but generally had lunch there. Kids pool was amazing, lanzarote is great for kids, once you get past the 4 hour flight

Suite Hotel Fariones Playa  right between the old town and the new town 2 good pools and a kiddies pool a restaurant and great views, has its own access to the beach as well.
we stayed there twice once with a two year old and once with a 4 year old and a baby, could recommend it highly enough.

having said that i hear they recently knocked the faroines hotel which is right next door and are re building it so there will be beside a building site pretty close.

Took our 2 year old last Jan. She had a ball, lots of beach time, playgrounds etc.

Naturally suncream and fluids are a must, bring a buggy with a shade (even if they're not really using one now) as a bit of mobile shade can be a godsend.

our lady will be 2 in may and we brought her last october and going again in may, she'll turn 2 there. she loved the kiddy pool and we found a lovely calm beach down near harbour last few days there. playa chica its called. we found main beach along promenade a bit rough with waves. was afraid she'd be swept off on us.
we stayed in old town and will be again this time. it has a large playground down by the harbour which is perfect for the toddlers.
Cantina Don Rafael is a mexican restaurant along the promenade and its very kid friendly.

We took our Son a few times when he was a tot. The last place we stayed was the best for kids by far.. Relaxia Lanzaplaya. Simply because they provide removable gates to put outside your apartment, so you have a little bit of leeway with regards letting the child wander around on the patio. It won't stop your kid getting over it and into the pool but it will certainly buy you a little bit of time. You'd obviously never take your eyes off them with water close by.

They also have 2 big pools and a good sized baby/toddler pool with lots of inflatables provided for them to play with.

It's also very close to the beach, about a 5 minute walk to the seafront and all the restaurants. Although they do have an all inclusive option, but we didn't bother with that, we went self catering.

We're actually heading back to Lanzarote in April ourselves. Can't wait.
