I recently was getting quotes from a broker call Britton Insurance Donegal, i wanted to get a policy from them. We went through the whole process with a quote that sounded a bit odd. I asked who the insurer was and she said it was a british insurer, if they go wallop you wouldnt get your money back because they arent regulated in Ireland.
can a broker sell such a product? surely this is very bad for business ?
