    Hello everyone

I'm trying to find out what effect lights have on a Ber, we bought a house which was a d1(235kw) but had no led or cfl bulbs. I changed to all led, just wondering does anyone know what the likely reduction would have been

Not much - it depends on the precise details of the house - but I just checked a D1 rating I have here.

    0% low energy - D1 - 251 kWh/m2/y
    100% lower energy - D1 - 246 kWh/m2/y

So on that particular BER (yours will be different) it didn't chance the letter of the rating at all.

Don't change to LEDs based on what you think it will do to the BER - change based on the quality and colour of light and if you can make it work for your pocket!!!

id approximate it would drop about 6kwhr so not enough to bring it under the 225kwhr and change the band
