Hi everyone.... Looking for a good spot for the soccer tomorrow evening, ideally with a bit of grub.

Thinking sober lane (the bar), not the courtyard.
    Possibly porterhouse...
Woolshed any good? I've only ever been in the Dublin one, while not the best of bars, at least you are practically guaranteed to be close to a decent screen for the game, Cork one similar?

Any suggestions at all would be great, thanks!

Sober Lane is a poor venue for a match tbh, even though I like going there for eats and drinks.

Woolshed is the best in town to watch a game but the food is pretty crappy tbh unless you just get chips.

Brog is a decent shout too. Food is average at best there.

    Or Soho.

only ate in Woolshed in Dublin and while its not Michelin star its far from crappy . If its anything like Dublin it would be great place to watch game.

    SoHo
    Rising Sons
    Reardens
    Costigans

Does The Flying Enterprise do games in the courtyard?

Best food and plenty of decent screens has to be SoHo IMO.

Woolshed pretty good as well but the food wouldn't be as good and AFAIR they don't have as many screens (could be wrong there though) . You can be almost anywhere in Soho and be near a screen.
